Patch Notes 0.13.17

Overview

LeiYun Games shipped version 0.13.17 on July 14, 2026 — the fourth Early Access update after launch. The headline change is a Reincarnation Shop (轮回商店) overhaul: items you already unlocked with Creation Coins no longer cost Reincarnation Points again at character creation, and shop entries no longer require you to have obtained the item in a prior run. Nine quality-of-life optimizations and twelve bug fixes accompany the shop rework.

Update Steam before starting a new run if you plan to spend Creation Points — the old double-cost behavior confused many players who unlocked techniques with 造化币 only to see them locked behind additional 轮回点数 at creation.

Reincarnation Shop Changes (Critical for Meta Players)

• No double spending: Items already enabled with Creation Coins (造化币) at the shop no longer require Reincarnation Points (轮回点数) when selecting them on the character creation screen
• Unlock without prior ownership: Shop techniques, spells, and items no longer demand that your character previously obtained them in-game — purchase once with Creation Coins and select freely on new runs

These two changes dramatically lower the friction of multi-run achievement hunting. Previously, unlocking a stolen technique in the shop and then paying again at creation felt like a hidden tax. See updated strategy in Creation Points farming guide and Reincarnation Shop system page.

Other Optimizations (7 items)

• Tracked recipe herbs pinned: When tracking a pill formula or recipe, required herbs now appear at the top of trade interfaces, crafting screens, and Shennong Cauldron mini-world lists
• Realm terminology unified: UI text corrected from 金丹 to 结丹 (Core Formation) for consistency across descriptions — aligns with community and official Chinese usage
• Error alert volume reduced: Harsh error notification sounds lowered to avoid ear fatigue during long sessions
• Shennong Cauldron Expand Spirit (扩灵): Resetting the treasure no longer reclaims opened spirit fields — only displays corresponding negative values, preserving your mini-world farm layout investment
• Chapter 4 story polish: Governance strategy (施政方略) scenes improved
• Chapter 5 story polish: Seven Star Lake fishing (七星湖垂钓) sequences refined
• Chapter 9 story polish: Twelve Zodiac Alliance (十二生肖盟) content enhanced

Bug Fixes (12 items)

• Fixed Request (求取) alchemy furnace function failing to grant furnaces from NPCs
• Fixed auto-tracking Deacon Hall (执事堂) quests after completing the current task — previously threw errors
• Fixed artifact slot unlock logic anomalies
• Fixed 替天行道旗 and 双宝映月 equipped together causing abnormally low damage numbers
• Fixed auto-plant placing herbs on tiles occupied by existing buildings
• Fixed jump from location UI directly to NPC interaction screen
• Fixed abnormal behavior from tooltip-triggered save operations
• Fixed HUD transition flash — one-frame world map misread when switching top-right interface tabs
• Fixed build preset display layer ordering
• Fixed red-text combat errors when using skills with Thunder Shock (震天雷) effects
• Fixed red-text errors when synthesizing herbs at the Spirit Washing Platform (洗灵台)
• Fixed swapped stat data between One Earth Return Yuan (一土归元绝) and Five Mountains Heaven Slash (五岳镇天斩)

Earth and Metal builds using the corrected arts should recheck Dantian loadouts — swapped values may have inflated or deflated pre-patch damage expectations.

What Players Should Do Now

1. Update to 0.13.17 before creating a character with Reincarnation Shop selections
2. Revisit shop spending — items you thought were "too expensive" may now work as intended without double costs
3. Enable recipe tracking for Heavenly Foundation pill prep — pinned herbs speed up Ghost Market and alchemy workflows
4. Backup saves at %USERPROFILE%/AppData/LocalLow/XiaMenLeiYun/Zaohua before experimenting with Expand Spirit resets on Shennong Cauldron runs
