Inventory & Trade QoL Guide

Practical guide to Destiny of Immortal 0.13.23-test inventory QoL: fusion search, Dantian filters, One-Click Learn, suit sorting, CTRL batch trade, and goodwill rule changes for non-Chinese readers.

Who Needs This Guide

Patch 0.13.23-test (July 23, 2026) adds the largest inventory and trade quality-of-life update in EA — but the UI remains Chinese-only. International players on the Steam test branch need to recognize key labels to use search filters, One-Click Learn, and batch trading efficiently. This guide maps every new feature to practical workflows.

Prerequisite: Opt into the Steam test branch — still required as of July 23. Stable EA on 0.13.22 does not include these features yet. Setup: Steam Test Branch Guide. Changelog: Patch Notes 0.13.23. Back up saves first: Save & Cloud Backup.

Technique/Spell Fusion Search & Filters

Open the fusion interface (technique merging for custom ultimate arts — see Technique Fusion System):

  • Text search bar: Type technique or spell names, or filter by status keywords. Useful when your fusion list exceeds 30+ entries in Core Formation+
  • Graphical category filters: Icon tabs at the top filter by element, type (功法 gongfa vs 术法 spell), or fusion eligibility — click icons instead of scrolling

Workflow tip: Before a fusion session, filter to 未悟 (not yet comprehended) or element-specific tabs to avoid wasting materials on already-maxed arts.

Dantian UI Search & Filters

The Dantian grid manager now mirrors fusion QoL:

  • Text search: Find equipped or stored pieces by name when reorganizing large grids post-Chapter 3
  • Graphical filters: Category icons sort cultivation methods, combat spells, and divine abilities separately

Pair with How to Build Your Dantian when rebuilding resonance chains after loot dumps. Search saves minutes per reorganization — critical before Nascent Soul breakthrough prep.

Inventory Set/Suit Sorting

Equipment inventory gains set/suit sorting (套装排序) — groups gear by set bonus name so you can evaluate which pieces complete a set bonus without manual scanning.

  1. Open inventory (bag icon)
  2. Locate the sort dropdown — select set/suit sort option
  3. Items cluster by set name — compare missing slots against Chapter 3 graduation sets

Essential during Liuyun City gearing windows documented in Chapter 3 walkthrough.

One-Click Learn (一键学习)

The headline feature: one button learns all unlearned techniques, spells, and recipes currently sitting in inventory.

  • Button label: 一键学习 — typically top of inventory or technique panel after 0.13.23
  • What it processes: Every learnable item in bags — techniques (功法), spells (术法), pill recipes (丹方)
  • What it skips: Already-learned entries, items requiring quest flags, equipment (not learnables)

Best use cases:

  1. After soul search farming sprees with Shiling Pearl — see Soul Search & Steal
  2. After dungeon loot dumps with 10+ scrolls
  3. Before Dantian reorganization — learn everything first, then search/filter the grid

Caution: F8 save before clicking — learning irreversible arts you did not plan for can clutter your technique list. Review inventory contents first.

Batch Trade — CTRL + Buy All / Sell All

Merchant interfaces gain bulk transaction tools:

  • Hold CTRL + click: Batch buy or sell stackable goods (spirit herbs, pills, materials) without repeated clicks
  • Buy All (全部购买): Purchase all listed items of a type in one action
  • Sell All (全部出售): Sell all sellable inventory items matching the merchant filter

Dramatically speeds alchemy material restocking and pill offloading. Pair with independent alchemy filters (丹方/炼制/配方) also added in 0.13.23 — see Alchemy System and NPC Alchemy Furnaces.

Goodwill & Prestige Rule Change

0.13.23 narrows standing deductions:

  • Still deducts goodwill/prestige: Sparring (切磋), theft (偷窃), soul search (搜魂)
  • No longer deducts: Normal combat, bounty kills, dungeon clears, overworld mob farming

Lawful players can farm and fight freely without NPC standing anxiety. Theft-heavy Shiling Pearl runs remain risky — balance with gifting per NPC Relations.

Other 0.13.23 QoL Worth Noting

  • Steal/Soul Search prompt dismiss: Optional permanent dismiss for confirmation dialogs — enable after you understand theft mechanics
  • BGM fix: Caves and tombs no longer play cheerful overworld music
  • Clearer status text: 已悟 (comprehended), 已学 (learned), and upgrade-eligible labels improved across panels

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need the test branch for One-Click Learn?

Yes as of July 23, 2026. One-Click Learn ships in 0.13.23-test only. Stable 0.13.22 does not include it until LeiYun promotes the build.

Where is the One-Click Learn button in Chinese UI?

Look for 一键学习 in the inventory or technique management panel. Use OCR if needed — the button appears after updating to 0.13.23-test.

Does One-Click Learn consume resources?

Learning techniques and spells typically costs spirit stones or time per item — the button processes all eligible items sequentially. Ensure sufficient spirit stones before bulk learning.

Can I batch trade with any merchant?

CTRL batch and Buy All/Sell All work on standard merchant trade interfaces. Some story-locked or special vendors may retain single-item limits.

Does normal combat still reduce NPC goodwill?

No after 0.13.23. Only sparring, theft, and soul search deduct standing. This applies on test branch — verify on stable after promotion.
