Where Shanyin County integrates Heavenly Foundation materials into story quests and secret realms, Wuyin Sea requires purchasing pills, fruit, and manuals with spirit stones at overseas merchants. Route Entry and Narrative Flavor

After five months of Chapter 2 exploration, the story directs you toward Ping'an City and the permanent directional split. Choosing south transports you across the ocean to overseas demon cultivation territories — a different tone from mainland sect politics. Companion romance subplots and faction allegiances diverge from the Shanyin path, affecting which endings remain accessible at Luocha Island's climax.

Wuyin Sea players avoid the Liu Bohu ambush at Shanyin Pass entirely — that fight is north-route exclusive. Your Chapter 2 gear check instead appears at Blood Luo City encounters and overseas Foundation cultivators.

Blood Luo City (血罗城)

Blood Luo City (Xuè Luó Chéng, 血罗城) is the primary southern hub, functionally equivalent to Liuyun City on the north route.

• Blood Pill Hall (血丹房): Purchase nine Foundation Pills with spirit stones — the southern Heavenly Foundation pill source
• Blood Cultivation Hall (血功房): Buy Introductory Qi Foundation Art secret manual for Foundation breakthrough

Budget significant spirit stone reserves before committing south. Material costs exceed Shanyin's integrated quest rewards, but the route offers story content and companions unavailable on the mainland path.

Ghost Market (鬼市)

The Ghost Market (Guǐ Shì, 鬼市) in Blood Luo City hosts black-market vendors with restricted inventory.

• Wang Zhiyu (王知鱼): Sells Dao Foundation Fruit (道基果) — purchase only the fruit; pills and secret manuals at this vendor are overpriced
• Concealment items: Required for safe entry into restricted zones and some secret realm shortcuts
• Forbidden techniques: Demonic manuals not available through lawful sect channels

Dao Foundation Fruit is irreplaceable for Heavenly Foundation — the fruit cannot be substituted with pills or alternative materials. Plan your fruit purchase before age twenty-one if targeting Heavenly Path breakthrough.
